Services Offered
Business Key Solutions provides a range of services tailored to meet the needs of businesses and entrepreneurs. These services include, but are not limited to, business formation, website design, digital marketing strategies, consulting, and other business-related services. We aim to exceed client expectations from consultation through completion.
User Obligations
Users must provide accurate, complete, and timely information when requesting services. Failure to provide requested documentation within 5 business days may result in additional service fees. After 10 business days of requesting information, if it is still not received, all fees paid may be subject to forfeiture. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Business Key Solutions may refuse any request that violates legal requirements, without refunding fees.
User Restrictions
You agree not to disrupt or interfere with our services, attempt to access source code, or use our services for any unlawful purpose.
Account Responsibility
If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
Payment
Services must be paid for according to the agreed terms. Delayed or missed payments may incur additional charges.
Refunds & Cancellation
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once payment is made for services, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, except at our sole discretion in extenuating circumstances. Full cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in our materials is protected by copyright and trademark laws and is owned by or licensed to Business Key Solutions. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without our prior written permission.

Any feedback, reviews, or suggestions you provide may be used by Business Key Solutions without compensation or restriction.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. We reserve the right to update our products, services, pricing, and these Terms at any time; your continued use of our website and services indicates acceptance of any changes.
Service Specific Terms
The terms above apply to everything we do. The terms in this section apply to particular services and, where they differ, they control. Last updated 27 August 2026.
1. Ownership and rights release
All rights, title and interest in the final approved artwork we create for you transfer to you once your invoice is paid in full. Before final payment, all work remains our property.
What transfers: the final marks, editable source files, exported files and any brand guide produced for you. What does not transfer: typefaces, stock imagery and other third party assets, which remain governed by their own licences and are provided to you subject to those licences. Concepts presented but not selected also remain ours.
We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing. If you would prefer we did not, tell us in writing and we will not.
2. Credits toward builds
Certain purchases credit toward a later build. A Site Audit credits in full. A Strategy Session credits in full. A DIY Launch Day credits fifty percent. A brand package credits twenty five percent.
Credits apply to a build that is booked and deposited within sixty days of the credited purchase. Credits are not cash, are not refundable, cannot be transferred to another person or business, and cannot be exchanged for a discount on anything else. Only one credit may be applied per project, and credits do not combine with each other or with any promotional rate.
3. Hosting, domains and email
Custom builds include twelve months of hosting, SSL and standard security, beginning at launch rather than at purchase. After twelve months these renew at our published rate, or you may move the site elsewhere. Included hosting covers a normal business website. Unusual traffic or storage requirements are quoted separately. Platform builds do not include hosting, because you pay your chosen platform directly.
Domains you already own remain entirely yours. We simply point them at your new site and nothing changes about who controls them.
Domains we purchase on your behalf are registered and held in the Business Key Solutions account for the duration of our work together. You have full use of the domain throughout. If you wish to move it into your own name, we will release it on request once your account is settled, subject to a transfer fee of $150 plus any registrar charges.
Registrar rules require a minimum of sixty days. A domain generally cannot be transferred for sixty days after it is first registered, and for a further sixty days after registrant details change. This applies regardless of circumstances and is outside our control.
During any domain or hosting transfer, we are not responsible for interruption to email, the website, or any connected service. Moving DNS and mail routing commonly causes temporary downtime.
4. Email setup
Email Setup is $250 and covers up to three mailboxes on your domain, DNS configuration, deliverability records including SPF, DKIM and DMARC, testing, and a handover document. Additional mailboxes are $50 each. Third party costs such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 seats are billed to you directly by that provider. Once configured, ongoing mailbox administration is yours unless a care plan covers it.
5. Cancellation and minimum engagement
Deposits are non refundable once work has begun. Work is considered begun at the earliest of: purchasing a domain on your behalf, configuring email, opening design files, or starting development.
If you cancel after work has begun, the minimum amount due is $1,500, or the remaining balance of your agreement if that amount is less. Payments already made count toward this amount. Anything delivered and paid for is yours to keep. Anything unpaid remains ours.
If we do not receive content, feedback or approvals from you for thirty consecutive days, we may pause the project and reschedule it, and a restart fee may apply.
6. Platform builds
For builds on Shopify, WordPress, Square, Wix or similar platforms, you own the account and pay the platform directly. We are not reselling the platform to you. We are not responsible for the platform’s pricing changes, outages, removed features or account suspensions. Handover includes your logins. Once you change those credentials, our responsibility ends unless a care plan is active.
7. Audits, DIY sessions and advisory work
A Site Audit is delivered within three business days of our receiving your web address. It is a written opinion and recommendation, not a repair. Once delivered it is not refundable.
DIY Launch Day and DIY Assist are guidance and training services. You make the final decisions and you are responsible for what you publish. We are not responsible for changes made after a session ends. Hourly time is billed in minimum blocks of one hour. Sessions cancelled with less than twenty four hours notice are billable.
8. Care plans
Care plans are billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the paid month. Partial months are not refunded. App Care is required for as long as an app we built remains published on the app stores, because store compliance requirements do not pause.
Included small changes means text, images, prices and hours. New pages, new features and redesigns are quoted separately. If a care plan lapses, we are not responsible for issues arising while it is not active.
9. Payment and payment plans
Standard terms are fifty percent at signing and fifty percent at launch. Payment plans are available on most services and carry a ten percent financing charge. Plans are billed automatically to the card on file. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, a site is not published until the plan is complete.
Work pauses if a payment is more than seven days late. Rights in the work do not transfer until payment is received in full.
10. Automatic billing authorisation
By starting a care plan or a payment plan you authorise recurring charges to your card for the stated amount and schedule until you cancel. Card details are held by our payment processor and are not stored by Business Key Solutions.
Care plans renew monthly until cancelled. Payment plans run for a fixed number of payments and then stop automatically. You may cancel at any time before the next charge date. Cancelling does not refund a charge already taken. If a payment fails we will retry, and after ten days service may be paused until the balance clears. Care plan price changes take effect only after thirty days notice and never apply retroactively.
11. Promotional rates
Where a reduced rate is offered in exchange for marketing permissions, you agree to provide, within thirty days of launch, a written testimonial, participation in a case study which may include before and after figures where available, and permission to use your business name and logo in our marketing. If these are not provided, the balance between the promotional rate and our standard rate becomes due.
